How many lectures are there each week?

For degree studies (e.g. BCom Marketing – part-time / full-time)

Most of the part-time lectures are held during the evening starting at 16:45 and ending at 22:30.

The duration of a lecture is 35 minutes and may also include tutorials, practicals and supplemental instruction.

Part-time students attend an average of 15 lectures per week.

Full-time lectures are held during the day between 07:45 and 16:45.

Full-time students attend an average of 20 to 24 lectures a week.

The duration of a lecture is 45 minutes. Students may also have to attend tutorials, practicals and supplemental instruction.

Part-time students attend an average of 6 lectures per week.

Full-time lectures are held during the day between 07:45 and 16:25.
